There have been a few changes around here in the last 4 months (including my work schedule – which has clearly left minimal time for updates). One of the most exciting has been our living room. I hope to share a bit more in depth about my design for this room some day soon, but how incredible is this sofa we had reupholstered?
It’s a 1960s Tuxedo style Drexel sofa that we rescued for $50. To. die. for.

Love the look, Lauren! If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it cost to reupholstered?
Let’s just say…so much that I’m never buying another sofa for the rest of my life, lol. It had to be gutted because at some point it had gotten wet. Plus, it’s extra long and my upholsterer convinced us to go with a high grade fabric and foam. Honestly, we probably could have purchased a small sectional for what we paid. But, on the up side, it should last a good long time.
Well, it’s gorgeous and very unique, so I’d say it was worth it!
