Another week, another mood board – this time featuring this incredible floral midcentury sofa that I acquired and have for sale! It’s a high quality sofa, upholstered in a beautiful floral chenille fabric that was hardly ever sat on. You might be asking….what do I do with a floral sofa? Well, here’s an idea for you. I love the thought of this in a feminine, pink-loving household or even as an eye-catching feature in a furnished Airbnb or short term rental. Here are my thoughts:

The sofa would be the star of the show in a room like this, but brought into 2023 with a mix of modern furniture and artwork. A gallery wall that pulls out the colors of the upholstery, complementing pillows, and a mix of shapes and texture make for a space teeming with visual interest. A background of white walls and subtle rug allow for just enough visual breathing room to allow you to process all of the delicious textures and colors present in the upholstered pieces and artwork.
