My daughter, Hannah, is such a smart, sweet girl. She loves pink, purple, flowers, Barbies, and all the girly things. I loved designing this sweet room to match her personality.
If you know me, I love incorporating reused pieces and affordable items into my decor. The gold vintage mirror was a $50 Facebook Marketplace purchase. The lamp, curtains, and bookcase were all from Target. The artwork has been repurposed in about 6 different settings. The dresser was mine as a child and my dad’s before that. I painted it mint green. The bed was previously in our guest room but was brought in here to accommodate the transition of the guest room to Henry’s room (which has bunk beds). The color scheme was inspired by the beautiful rug, which is from Anthropologie.
This curio cabinet was mine as a kid. My husband brought the matryoshka dolls back after two mission trips to Russia.
Another of my childhood dressers in mint green with a gallery wall of meaningful artwork above is another favorite feature in this room. Hope you enjoyed the tour!
